Fed Audit - Write to your Congress Representative - September 24, 2009

As most of you are aware, Vance Capital Management is very concerned about the financial dealings of our country, our government and our Federal Reserve Board.
Yesterday, it was revealed that the Fed has gold swaps in place. This came out in a letter from the Fed to GATA which is the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee.
The letter said that they have gold swap arrangements with foreign banks that they do not want the public to know about. This contradicts Alan Greenspan's vehement denials in the past of any swap arrangements. Clearly the Fed has mislead the American people.
While this message is not the place to discuss swap arrangements, suffice it to say that it can lead to market mis-pricings, market volatility and instability and market manipulation.
The Federal Reserve Board is a private cartel of bankers and is organized as a private corporation. They were formed in 1913 and have never, ever been accountable to the American people. They are not a federal or government agency and yet they are the most powerful agency in the world today.
Ron Paul, a libertarian in the House of Representatives is the only member who truly understands economics and the Fed. He has sponsored a bill with Barney Frank as a co-sponsor to force the Fed into an audit so we can find out once and for all who they really are.
Tomorrow they will vote in committee to kill it or move it forward. We are encouraging all of our friends and partners to send letters to Congress to move this bill forward. We are providing some links below to make it easier for you.
We suggest that you keep it short and simple and encourage your representative to pay attention to this new bill to audit the Federal Reserve Board. This needs to be done so there is transparency and the public can be assured that they are truly working for the American people and not just their private corporation of member banks.
